All Our Lamb is traditionally farmed.
Our Suffolk Lambs come from farms who pride themselves on the traditional methods of sheep farming with all lambs grazing on a mixture of nutritious grasses, clovers and beneficial herbs with no feed concentrates or artificial additives.
The Suffolk evolved from mating Norfolk Horn ewes with Southdown rams. The Suffolk is a truly pure and unique breed. It is unsurpassed in eating quality and is well known for its high quality meat. Suffolks have bare heads, black faces and bare black legs but no horns. Suffolk rams are widely used with ewes of other breeds, for example Texel’s x, blue faced Leicester mule, Salt March Lamb and Dorset Down Lamb, to make crossbred lambs.
